After
more than 25 years on the road and several acclaimed CDs published,
we’re proud to announce this latest work characterized by some
jazz-flavor arrangements, with songs conveyed from different sound
worlds: soundtracks, pop and soul hits, standards. We skip from
Donald Fagen to Marvin Gaye to Miles Davis and his wife Betty
Davis, mixing jazz standards ("All of Me", "Nature Boy" and "Fly me
to the Moon") with soundtrack tunes (“Last Tango in Paris”, “March
of Esculapio”).
“RadiOrobians” therefore
becomes a kaleidoscope of genres, “bent” or rather shaped, by Ska,
Reggae and Rocksteady up-beat tempo. At the end of this long
journey what can we say about the spirit of THE OROBIANS. Just few
simple lines. Our band is a collective: everyone has its own role,
there is no real leader, and everyone is taking its own musical and
life experience into the sound and into the group. Our musical
recipe is “WE PLAY WHAT WE LIKE THE MOST”! Enjoy “RadiOrobians”,
