Description:
During 1989 Bad Manners recorded the 'Skinhead Luv-A-Fair' LP as
the Busters All Stars. One of the songs the band recorded was the
Symarip cover 'Skinhead Girl'. During the same sessions the band
recorded the variant 'Skinhead Boy' with Verona Davis of the
English ska band The Deltones on vocals. Unfortunately, this
version did not appear on the album and apart from a sporadic
appearance on a compilation CD, this song remained on the shelf.
Unfairly, so we decided to release the song on vinyl for the first
time.
Liner notes are written by Lee Morris, author of
the unsurpassed '2 Tone - Before, During & After' book and
the fanzine of the same name.
