Description:
After a hiatus of several years, Boss Capone returned on stage and
in the studio. Boss Capone - the stage name of Boudewijn Van Trigt
- is core member, songwriter and producer of the Dutch early reggae
band The Upsessions. This time Boss Capone is accompanied by Patsy
- also known as Renske De Boer or Mrs Wallace - known from The
Originators and Mr Wallace, among others.
In 2023 Boss Capone & Patsy released the album 'Kings And
Queens' featuring 11 early reggae, rocksteady and ska
gems. Patsy's powerful and strong vocals took Boss Capone's
compositions to the next level and the album sold out within the
year. The album was well received worldwide and the album took
the pair to numerous prominent festivals in Europe and the US such
as Freedom Sounds, This Is Ska and Supernova.
As demand for the album continued, Aggrobeat Records decided to
have the album re-pressed. To
ensure that the different pressings of this album remain
recognisable, this pressing has some minor adjustments to the
cover, different center labels and is pressed on 140 grams
vinyl.
