'Familia b/w Igniter' is the first collaboration single from Dougy
(Bordeaux, France) together with Dutch producer Dub Disciple
(Nijmegen, The Netherlands) and is the very first release on
Boomshakalak Records.
The single was a hands on collaboration between the French reggae
singer / songwriter and Dutch producer Dub Disciple and Dutch
label boss Jimmy Spliff Fiyah of Boomshakalak Records. The
concept and recording was done during 2021 and features a hint of
‘west coast g-funk in a unique reggae dub digital production.
The 7” delivers 2 powerful songs in a unique style. Dougy’s puts on
the flow and the vocals to hold high a message of Unity and
togetherness. The work of Dub Disciple has made the beat well
loud and heavy.
